Figeac Aero absorbs its neighbor auvergne – ladepeche.fr

The group Figeac Aero is continuing its external development : it has just announced the acquisition of the assets of groupe Auvergne Aerospace specialist in aerostructures.

The commercial court of Lyon ruled on Thursday in favor of the plan presented by Figeac Aero for the recovery of the group’s assets auvergne. This acquisition takes place without recourse to the Group’s debt, the capital increase carried out in march 2016 to ensure the integration of the acquired business and the future developments.

Investments

To return to profitability on this new subsidiary company, Figeac aero, intend to put in place the methods that have allowed him to post an average growth rate of +23 % over the past 4 years, while remaining profitable. Four areas are considered to achieve this goal :

-the renewal of The top Management and the recovery of 97 % of employees ;

-The reorganization of production with synergies between some poles of activity.

-The rationalization of procurement and manufacturing costs ;

-the deployment of an investment program of€ 5 Million over 3 years.

external Growth

This operation is perfectly in line with the strategy of external growth through targeted acquisitions and generating organic growth of the company figeacoise. Moreover, it validates the group’s ambition to become the european leader for outsourcing aerospace and strengthens the sales target to march 2020 between 650 and 750 Million euro.

Auvergne aerospace has 705 employees, of which 310 in Morocco.

He realized in 2015 a turnover of 46 M€, mainly in the field of boiler making and sheet metal for the aeronautics industry.

The Group has 3 centres of high-level skills implemented :

-Clermont-Ferrand : centre dedicated to the repair and aircraft maintenance, parts manufacturing chaudronnées and pipe specific, assembly, surface treatment and

paint ;

-Auxerre : precision machining and large size, up to the benefits of surface treatment and assembly ;

-Casablanca (Morocco) : assemble parts and sub-assemblies, manufacture of large-scale boiler, surface treatment…
