Falls from the primary to the left, Gérard Filoche wants to file an appeal – BFMTV.COM

It will not be. The High Authority has rejected the nomination of Gérard Filoche, on Saturday. The inspector is therefore not included among the seven candidates in the primary from the left. Strong unhappy, the socialist, announced that he would file an appeal.

“After consulting my lawyer, I do a double appeal, to the level of sponsorships, and if not to go directly to the primary [outside of the PS] as Pinel, Rugy or Bennahmias,” he told France Info.

“I’m legit”

“Jean-Christophe Cambadélis had said that all the points of view of the left were to be represented. I don’t see why I’m not. I’m legitimate. I campaigned for six months, I have been for 22 years, the leadership of the socialist Party, I defend the rights of employees,” stressed Gérard Filoche, on BFMTV.

For his part, the president of the High authority, Thomas Clay, said in his remarks, Saturday around 13 hours and have already received legal documents from candidates unhappy.

The hours before the announcement of the list of candidates, Gérard Filoche had expressed his outrage, tweeting “Primary: why do they pretend register 2 candidates? a 0 % voting intentions 8 % of voting intentions?”. Or “they do leak elimination. Cambadelis told all points of view to the left will be represented, false, I make use of as Corbyn”.

“Difference in treatment”

The applicant has also launched an appeal for donations, stating on Twitter that he “also need to make this appeal”, as it had done previously for his campaign.

Guest Friday on the set of BFMTV, Gérard Filoche was already skeptical to the primary organization, that openly criticize the High authority.

“The only problem is that after the High authority are judges and parties Jean-Christophe Cambadélis and Christophe Borgel. They are not in the High authority, but they are the ones who are going to decide. (…) I try to talk with them for fifteen days, they don’t not even take the phone.”

He had denounced a “difference in treatment” between the candidates, to their disadvantage. Jean-Christophe Cambadélis, has responded to Gérard Filoche on Twitter: “What you cannot stand is that the left of the PS have you boycotted! They have not wanted you to sponsor point to the line!”.

“Our sponsors have been pressed”

The second candidate is not selected, Fabien Verdier, speaks of pressures:

“Our sponsors have been pressured not to sign for us. [...] We are not allowed to defend our ideas, it is a pity, it is a great pity.”

for Christophe Borgel, President of the organizing Committee of the Left Primary, he denies his accusations, on BFMTV and retorts that the conditions to be able to compete in the primary of the left “are more flexible than those of the primary right.”
