United States. Mcdonald’s is testing home delivery from January – West-France

In January next year, Mcdonald’s will offer home delivery in certain cities in the United States. The giant of fast food, has entered into a partnership with UberEATS (the meal delivery service home of the giant of the VTC).

Who has never dreamed to deliver their Big Mac or McFlurry straight home without moving ? It is, in any case, this Mcdonald’s will be testing in the United States next January. According to information from the american site Business Insider, 200 restaurants in the u.s. will offer this new service, including in Orlando, Tampa or Miami, Florida. This for ” a few privileged clients “ selected from January 2017.

A check-in for 2018 in France ?

For delivery of the food, the customer will have to pass by the site or the app McDelivery, the delivery service of Mcdonald’s, which has recently created a partnership with UberEATS, the service of home delivery of the platform VTC Uber. The chain of fast-food is committed to deliver the orders in 10 minutes. It will, however, add delivery fees of around 5 €.

Mcdonald’s could expand this new mode of delivery in the future. The company has indicated that this service should soon be landed in France, but also in the United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia in the 2018 timeframe, si the results are conclusive with these american clients. The brand book is already in some thirty countries in the world, including China and Brazil.
