MILAN, Feb. 14 (Reuters) – Michele Ferrero, the richest man in Italy and owner of a chocolate empire, died Saturday at age of 89 following a long illness, his Monaco home, said his company.
The head of the Italian State, Sergio Mattarella, was deeply affected by the death from what he said was a “born entrepreneur”.
Michele Ferrero was designed both as Nutella Ferrero Rocher chocolates or eggs Kinder, transforming his small provincial company, founded by his father in 1946, into an empire of chocolate present today in 53 countries. (Giancarlo Navach and Agnieszka Flak; Eric Faye for the French service)
