Uber file a new complaint against France-Press – Challenges.fr

PARIS, Feb. 17 (Reuters) – American specialist of passenger cars with driver (VTC) Uber filed last January 30 a new complaint against France to the European excécutif after that filed in November, Les Echos reported Tuesday on its website.

Uber hopes that the European Commission opened infringement proceedings against the French government to cancel law to appease the quarrel between taxis and VTC passed last September, said the business daily.

Uber, present in 250 cities around the world, is challenged in many countries, including France, where taxis denounce unfair competition.

The French government has decided to ban the UberPOP application, pay offer transportation between individuals, to the satisfaction of taxis angry.
