Wi-Fi in trains, from 2016. That’s one of the great promises made Tuesday by the general direction of the station, on the occasion of the presentation of its digital strategy, designed to accelerate the process.
The WiFi in the train will start mid-2016. The Paris-Lyon will be equipped with the end of 2016. The LGV Est and Paris-Bordeaux line, mid-2017. Same for Paris-Strasbourg. “The
device will be tested and operated on a commercial basis in June 2015. It then takes time to equip all lines,” said Frederic Burtz, head of innovation at digital management station.
