Almost a third (32%) of employers TPE (very small enterprises) are optimistic about the French economy in the third quarter, a level of confidence not seen since 2010. However, most anticipate adverse consequences of Brexit, according to a poll Ifop-Fiducial.

Similarly, almost a business leader in two (49%) expressed confidence on its own activities, a figure up 7 points from April, but down compared to last year in the same period (51%). The number of companies in the red for cash is reduced by 3 points (21% against 24% in April).
So almost three quarters of employers surveyed TPE (73%) expect to maintain or increase their sales in the next quarter. Specifically, they are 28% to provide for a revenue growth between July and September. However, they remain divided about the effects of Brexit on the French economy, the survey shows.
They are a slight majority (52%) think that the output of the United Kingdom of the European Union will have adverse consequences, against 44% who state otherwise. TPE executives believe the majority (53%) than the Brexit will cause degradation to the economy of the European Union. However, 46% of them believe that this deterioration should be temporary. Remains some 14% of optimists predicting an improvement in the European economy following the Brexit.
The survey was conducted among a nationally representative sample of 1,002 TPE executives from 0 to 19 employees (excluding self-entrepreneurs), interviewed by telephone from July 11 to 28, 2016.
