MPs will end the “electronic marauding” VTC
The legislature intends to settle in the battle between taxis and Touring Car with driver (VTC), even if it disgruntled and stifle the growth of a sector which recruits. MEPs adopted Wednesday in committee the bill PS on taxis and chauffeured cars (VTC) as amended by the Senate on the polemical article stipulating the VTC to return to his base between each race.
The bill should now be finally adopted by the Assembly in plenary on second reading on September 18. PS MP Gilles Savary took over as rapporteur of the text that was previously occupied by the now famous Thévenoud Thomas, author of the draft law before entering government for nine days.
