The SNCF group, has invested three million euros in the company’s transport vehicles with driver (VTC) Allocab, has announced the start-up Thursday.
“This amount, a portion of which is invested via the funds SNCF Digital Ventures managed by Hi Inov, has for main objective to allow Allocab to accelerate and consolidate its geographic deployment,” details Allocab in a press release. Allocab provides “past three years” of the VTC to the SNCF for its offer of transport between the train station and the place of departure or arrival, iDCab, and says to have developed “technologies” specific to the railway company.
“Become the first French actor in the sector”. For the president of Allocab, Yanis Kiansky, who is quoted in this press release, “this new step in the development of Allocab will allow us to further enrich our offer for companies as for individuals, to accelerate our deployment to strengthen our position as the leading network of VTC in France and become the first French actor in the sector out of our borders to serve the major european capitals”.
500.000 users by 2017. The company of VTC is predicted that by the end of 2017, to establish partnerships with companies from VTC in ten major european cities. It claims that 250,000 users and 3,000 drivers, and aims for 6,000 new drivers and 500,000 users by the end of 2017, after having recently opened up “its platform to taxis with a licence VTC or Loti” (public transit).
