The morning of October 14, 2016 hosted by France Active on the “smart suburbs” has been the occasion to announce the creation of a new guarantee fund specifically to help the entrepreneurs from these areas to finance themselves.
The government accedes to request of France Active to create a guarantee fund specifically to help entrepreneurs in the popular districts to get loans. “By December, this fund will be operational”, has said the minister of Labour, Myriam El Khomri, the 14 October on the occasion of the event “Smart suburbs : entrepreneurs are reinventing the city”, organized by France Active. “It will be equipped with 500,000 euros at the end of the year, says Christian Sautter, president, France Active Localtis. The Caisse des Dépôts add more than 400 euros per folder. We will put the package up there.”

To the minister, it is also important to give more clarity and visibility on possible funding for the districts. A goal that must be completed by Agence France-Contractor (AFE), founded in 2016, which brings together the funding in this area. It is equipped with 56 million euros. The morning of the 14th October, organised by France Active has enabled us to present some, such as the social housing agency SOLiHA AIS Ile-de-France, which, beyond a traditional mandate of managing apartments, carries out intermediation rental. The agency target the owners of private dwellings. She encourages him to rent their real estate property to accommodate families in precarious jobs, the beneficiaries of the law Dalo (right to housing) and Daho (right to accommodation enforceable). Other examples of activities in the neighbourhoods : Voisinmalin, a association that creates a network of people to help the other inhabitants of their neighborhood (to understand the changes taking place in their daily lives, listen to them, convey useful information…), or ATF, a friendly company in the sector of the circular economy, which employs 80% of workers with disabilities.
