The sales of the tablet “Surface” for their part, rose by 44% 713 million even if they are down compared to the previous quarter when they had exceeded one billion dollars for the first time.

The professional products rose 5% (7% in currency constants) to $ 12.8 billion.

The group said that sales were higher than expected in the United States but in line with expectations in China, Russia and Japan.

In the first nine months of the year, revenue was up 12.5% ​​to $ 71.4 billion but net profit down 12% to 15.388 billion dollars.
