VTC: The most dynamic sector for business creations … – The Tribune.fr

The new businesses are rising again. INSEE announced Tuesday that 550,700 businesses were created in France in 2014, 2% more than in 2013, but said the vast majority do not create jobs. In more detail, the areas in which the largest number of companies were created last year are trade, transportation, food and lodging (152,200 businesses created) and business support (117,400), and construction (76,500).

The figures INSEE are gross figures, which do not take account of business failures, numbering 62,586 last year by a score of Altares research firm.
