Winter sales: the French plan to spend less – Liberation

If the French are still likely to plan to balances this winter, a significant portion of them, however, should reduce the budget they will spend, in a context of crisis and almost constant promotions, according to two polls published Friday.

The winter sales begin January 7 and will conclude on February 17, except in the Lorraine departments as they begin this Friday, followed Saturday Guadeloupe. For the first time since 2009, they will last six weeks and not five, floating balances from being deleted.

Fractions looking for bargains, 21% of French intend it to tracking before D-Day.

And 40% say it will go in search of sales private before the official date. Even spend all their budget before January 7.

For 24% of them, these “balances before balances” are the best way to beat the crowds in the stores, while 23 % think it is the right way to be sure of finding the desired product
