ORGANIC GROWTH ACCELERATING SLIGHTLY CASINO THE 4TH QUARTER

PARIS (Reuters) – Casino slightly accelerated in the fourth quarter due to better performance in France despite the price war raging in France and consumption mast, while its dynamics slowed slightly in its food distribution operations in Brazil and Colombia

The trend has also improved in supermarkets (-3.2% after -4.4%) and proximity (-2.0% after -4.3%) while that it has deteriorated at Franprix-Learder Price (-2.0% after + 0.2%).

Also affected by the closure obligation to 21:00 instead of 22:00, Monoprix sales decreased 0.7%, with negative sales in non-food.

At international level, particularly where the group controls the number brésilen distribution, Grupo Pao de Acucar (GPA) Casino slowed the rate at 5.6% against 6.1%.

In the e-commerce, Cnova subsidiary, introduced in late November and Nasdaq mainly involving the assets of Nova and Brazilian Pontocom the French CDiscount, saw the growth of its revenues 19.7% to 1.09 billion euros.

The volume of business (including income from market places) reached 1.47 billion (28.6%).
