BNP Paribas blew up the current account deficit to 7.4 … France – The Tribune.fr

The violation by BNP Paribas of American embargo rules was very expensive in June. The fine of nearly $ 9 billion paid by the bank in the United States highlighted the current account deficit in France to € 7.4 billion in June

Positive balance for French investments abroad

The financial account in June showed a net outflow of direct investment of 0.4 billion euros after 5.6 billion outflows a month earlier.

The balance of French investments abroad was positive to the tune of 1.2 billion and the investment of non-residents in France was positive $ 1.6 billion.

Portfolio investment recorded net outflows capital of 7.0 billion. Other investments (loans and bonds) recorded net inflows of EUR 28.1 billion.
