Francois Hollande said they could not “confirm the presence of French” among the victims of the attack Friday in Sousse in Tunisia.

Last year, a suicide bomber blew himself up on a beach in Sousse, causing no casualties.
This new attack came just over three months after the bloody attack against the Bardo Museum in Tunis claimed by jihadist Islamic State Group (EI). 21 tourists and a Tunisian policeman were killed in the attack on 18 March.
After the attack, the strategic sector of tourism recorded in April very poor results, with a decline over the year of 25, 7% of the number of tourists and tourism revenue 26.3% in foreign currency.
