According to the Prime Minister Habib Essid, a French national had died in the attack against the Bardo Museum in Tunis. In total, seventeen tourists, five Japanese, four Italians and one French, were killed in the attack, he says, scaling back the previous record of twenty tourists killed. Speaking on national television “a final situation,” he listed “17 killed among the tourists.” In addition to the 17 tourists, two Tunisians were killed in the attack. The French Foreign Ministry has not confirmed the information. However, Paris is “no news” of a seventh of its nationals, according to Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius. “There are six injured (French) that were identified (…) more a person whom we have no news,” said Mr Fabius during a press conference at the Tunisian embassy in Paris. “Among the six injured, there are three that are in a serious condition,” he said. “We do not know exactly where that person but among the six wounded, there are three that are in a serious condition, “he said at a press conference with his Tunisian counterpart, Taieb Baccouche at the Tunisian Embassy in Paris.
