Great place to work: those companies in which to work in 2016 – Challenges.fr

In full debate on the Bill Working Myriam El Khomri, where unions and youth complain of a deterioration in working conditions and protection of employees, the 2016 ranking of the companies in which to work in France is a real breath fresh air. He is hopeful for millions of employees who are going to the office or the factory without any particular motivation or with butterflies in my stomach, stressed and on the edge of burnout. Compiled by the institute Great place to work, the 2016 ranking of these companies attached to the well-being of their employees demonstrates once again that it is possible to combine social and economic performance. Patrick Dumoulin, its director, and like to recall some metrics. “84% of the charts of the companies employees feel good at work and 79% go there with pleasure, against 46% and 41% of employees overall. Furthermore, our winners have created more than 10,000 jobs in the last years and all are growing. ”

600,000 downloads of Davidson Code

The two 2016 rankings of the Institute illustrate this virtuous circle. Whether in the category of less or more than 500 employees, we find very well-positioned companies in their market and attractive in terms of jobs. Strong trend, consulting firms and young technology companies and monopolize the best seats in the rankings. Confronted by the nature of their profession with high turnover, the winners of the winners consulting firms have succeeded, thanks to improved living conditions and a more participatory management, retain their employees. Like Davidson Consulting, founded in 2005, number one among companies with fewer than 500 employees for the 3rd consecutive year, Accuracy, created in 2004, also in first place for more than 500 employees for the 2nd time after. Davidson Code, a sort of bible of management published by Davidson Consulting, has even become a must. It would have been downloaded over 600,000 times! “I think these two beautiful entrepreneurial achievements were exemplary and highly innovative side”, supports Patrick Dumoulin. They bring with them from other companies. Solucom, Square, Extia, Cadence Design Systems, Zenika Columbus and consulting are also among the top 10 companies in which to work in their category. Many very young firms are also present as BlaBlaCar (3rd), Leboncoin (12th), Criteo (19th) or Evaneos (14th).

Develop taking initiatives and dialogue

“What always impresses me is the desire of strong winning companies to become Great place to work. Among them is Employers first, customers second, “pousuit Patrick Dumoulin. Some examples are revealing. At Mars France (2nd) and Sarenza (31st), CEOs do not have individual offices and work alongside their employees in wide open space, making them more human and accessible. BlaBlaCar organizes weekly Blablatalk during which a manager presents to everyone what his team the last 6 weeks and the next 6. Colombus Consulting has developed the 360, a system in which each employee is rated by the people he works with regularly. Aramisauto.com (33) devotes 5% of its payroll to training and every job applicant is also received by his peers. Result: 53% of branch managers are from internal mobility. A reward system which also made the success of McDonald’s company (8th) in France, which has even opened its own training center in Guyancourt. Or Leroy Merlin (13th) floor that made all of its employees on their vision of the company in 2025. As many concrete actions that help empower employees and make them want to take responsibility. Another important fact: in labeled companies, employees have more than average sense of being paid at fair value. Salaries, bonuses and increases are generally higher than the industry average.

Methodology: Companies applying for inclusion in the charts Great place to work. They pay between 4,900 and 13,900 euros to be audited. To establish annually palmares companies in which to work, Great place to work for employees address a questionnaire anonymously which accounts for 2/3 of the final grade. A qualitative assessment of the corporate culture and management practices through a detailed record informed by management of the company (1/3 of the final mark).
