Greece missed yesterday repayment to the IMF of $ 1.55 billion, but this amount is nothing compared to the 10 billion still due this year, especially in July and August at IMF and the ECB, says AFP. From July to December, it must exactly 10.3 billion euros in principal to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Central Bank (ECB) and marginally to the European Investment Bank (EIB), plus interest or renewals of Treasury bonds to three and six months it must perform almost every month.
The amounts owed to its creditors Greece (International Monetary Fund, European Central Bank , European Investment Bank, European governments, the European Financial Stability Fund, private investors) are very uneven from one year to another and even from one month to another. These amounts are due under such bailouts of Greece from 2010 and 2012, which led to grant loans of 240 billion euros in total.
Unfortunately for Greece, 2015 in financial turmoil for the country, is precisely the year the scheduled repayments are the highest by 2054, with about € 15 billion in all, according to the Greek financial sources.
For comparison, is about $ 6 billion that Greece needs in 2016 7.5 billion in 2017 3.5 in 2018 before another big year in 2019 11 billion euros .
Its repayment schedule by the end of the year (main):
– July : € 455 million owed to the IMF 13 and 3.456 billion to the ECB 20 and € 25 million to the EIB , also 20
– August . 3188000000 euros to the ECB August 20
-. September : 1.556 billion euros to the IMF in four maturities, 4, 14, 16 and 21
