For the first time, ahead of the CFDT CGT Orange – The World

A hundred thousand employees were asked to vote in professional elections of Orange, on 20 November.

With 24.12% of votes, the CFDT wins hands down, with an increase of 2 points compared to the last elections in 2011 (21.85%). As for the CGT, it drops 3 points, with 19.56% of the votes against 22.74% in 2011. The Trade Union Solidarity (SUD) is the third union, but is down by 1 point, with 17 51% of the votes (18.61% in 2011)

elbow to elbow with SUD, the French Confederation of Management – General Confederation of Executives (CFE-CGC) recorded an increase of more than 1 point, with 16.18% of the votes (14.74% in 2011). Workers Force (FO) is also gaining nearly 1 point, with 14.97% of the vote against 14.02%. For its part, the French Confederation of Christian Workers (CFTC) was down slightly, with 6.48% of the vote, against 6.8%. This result still does not allow it to be representative.

“VOTE disastrous”

Director of Human Resources Bruno Mettling, welcomed participation in the “slight progress” from 2011. “We see confirmation of the vitality and quality of social dialogue at Orange” , has he said.

The CFE-CGC, through the voice of Sébastien Crozier, nevertheless qualified this vote of “disastrous” with, according to him, “5-7% of voters” that could not vote because of technical difficulties, such as server failures.

In total, more than 100,000 employees of France Telecom-Orange were called Thursday to elect their union representatives in a sociological evolution of the business environment, which now more frames.
