emission: PSA was raided – The Point

The Fraud confirmed Thursday it had raided the facilities of the PSA group, as part of an investigation of “anomalies” of emissions of three vehicles tested in the wake of the Volkswagen scandal. This concerns five establishments of the first French carmaker and “does not prejudge the findings of the investigation which is being conducted under the usual procedures,” said the DGCCRF in a statement.

Earlier in the day, the French group PSA announced that it had been raided and said it was working “fully” with authorities. “As part of ongoing investigations on emissions in the automobile sector, PSA has been date of a business transaction and the DGCCRF entry,” had said the company (Peugeot, Citroën and DS brands ). “PSA confirms compliance of its vehicles in pollutant emissions in all countries where it operates. Confident in its technology, PSA fully cooperate with the appropriate authorities, “assured the company.

The operation of the DGCCRF (Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) in the first french manufacturer comes three months after the one conducted in the second Renault, as part of investigations required by the government after the scandal of rigged Volkswagen diesel engines.
