Not seen since the creation of this device in 2007, allowing the ISF taxpayers to deduct 75% of their donations the amount of tax, within the limit of 50,000 euros.

In six years the amount of donations increased by 80%, the study said. It amounted to 220 million euros in 2015 from 43,300 donors subject -on 331,010 taxpayers to the ISF. Five years earlier, this windfall for associations stood at 120 million euros to 40,000 donors. It is thus situated far ahead of the Rhône-Alpes region which concentrates 8% of donors and 7.5% of the amounts declared. Follow the PACA region and the Nord-Pas-de-Calais. However, the Île-de-France is not the area where donations are highest, the Nord-Pas-de-Calais who wins the prize with an average donation of 6200 euros against 5300 in Island -de-France

” This study shows the major role played by the gift? ISF in the landscape of generosity. This makes us aware that the ISF has been a kind of generosity bubble for people with a heritage or meaningful revenue (boosting the amount of donations, foundations sheltered creations or endowment …), “says Eric Dutertre , president of the French association of fundraiseurs, sponsorship and philanthropy. However, NGOs fear the disappearance of this device because many candidates have raised the possibility of removing it.
