The decline curve recorded unemployment according to ILO methodology is also more straightforward than that released by Pôle emploi – the employment center curve more playing yo-yo. The two institutions do not count in fact unemployed in the same way: while INSEE and the ILO undertake survey, employment center account all unemployed systematically. Especially, the ILO definition is more restrictive, so that can be registered at employment center, but not counted in statistics from INSEE.
