Christine Lagarde ready to re-enlist at the head of the IMF – L’Express

“Everything will depend on the willingness of IMF members. If they wish me to continue to serve, it is definitely something I will consider.” Christine Lagarde has officillement postulated to succeed himself in an interview published Thursday in the magazine Challenges . His term as head of the institution of Washington, which it describes as “beautiful home”, was completed in July 2016.

The general director of the IMF, former Finance Minister Nicolas Sarkozy, was hitherto always remained very evasive about his intentions. Its high popularity in the polls has been able to feed speculation about a possible return policy in France.



Target criticism of Greece

At the head of the IMF, it is criticized for several weeks by Greece, financially strangled and accuses him of a line too hard adopt vis-à-vis her.
